Healthy Tips for Online Atmosphere
Nowadays, we all are sitting in front of our devices for hours. We need to find ways to stay healthy.
In my last blog, I didn't mention tips to stay healthy and active, so here are some tips.
Most of us do not have the appropriate posture while working. We are slouching or having a hunch back. The wrong posture not only ruins our posture but also leads to many health problems.
You can keep a cushion at your lower back to reduce back problems.
The Device should be at Eye Level.
Make sure that the laptop screen is at your eye level. Do not bend your neck while studying.
I recommend buying a laptop stand to increase the height of your laptop screen. As an alternative, you can keep your laptop o a pile of books to gain the same result.
You'll have a better posture and no neck pain.
Stretching
Sitting for long hours can cause many health problems. Take breaks while studying and incorporate stretching into your routine.
Here are some exercises I recommend.
#1 Neck Rotation - Rotate your neck clockwise and anti-clockwise and also, from back to front.
#2 Eyeball Rotation - Move your eyeballs clockwise and anti-clockwise. Then, rub your hands and cover your eyes for 2 minutes
#3 Shoulder Rotation - Keep your hands on your shoulders and rotate clockwise and anti-clockwise.
#4 Jogging in place - Jog in place. Make sure you're safe and wear sports shoes before jogging.
#5 Feet Rotation - Rotate your feet clockwise and anti-clockwise.
Change your Positions
When you're sitting in one position for hours, it can cause multiple health problems. Thus, changing the position helps. Make sure that you're not slouching again.
To stay active throughout the day, you need to stay hydrated. Drinking 2-3 liters of water every day is essential to gain focus.
Using Headphones or Speakers
You must use headphones or a speaker if the laptop speaker is not working well.
On the other side, you need to be very cautious while wearing your headphones. If the volume is too loud, then it can affect your hearing.
Sitting on Floor or Bed
If you don't have a study table, you can sit on the floor or the bed and study. Make sure that your back is resting on the wall. I recommend buying a folding table and using it.
