We all hear people advising us to be more productive and to improve ourselves. They ask us to spend our time more productively by working all day but, they forget the main purpose of productivity.

I have said this a lot cause it's important to know that productivity is completing your work so you can make time for yourself to relax.

If you feel that when you relax, you are not being productive, then you're wrong. You're productive by taking out time for yourself. 


Here are things that will make you feel better if you're stressed.

1. Clean and Organize

When you're stressed about something, the clutter only makes it worse. So, it better to clear the clutter and reduce the stress. The sense of achievement after doing so will make you feel satisfied and happy.

2. Journal

Journalling is writing your feelings down and explaining your thoughts on them. When you are stressed, you can give thought to the problem you are stressed about and understand your thoughts better.

3. Skin Care

Skin Care can be relaxing. Apply a face mask, have a manicure, and listen to some relaxing music. Enjoy your time and just relax!

4. Nature

Nature is the most beautiful thing on earth. Spend some time with it, and they will soon be family. My mother got interested in gardening at the start of the pandemic. Now, her relaxing time is with plants, and she has planted nearly 100 plants at home. 

5. Pursue your Hobby

We all have hobbies, be it dancing, singing, craft, computer skills, or anything else. It is our happy place, and we all enjoy these. 

6. Style your outfit

When you put extra effort into styling your outfits, you feel more confident and happy. The color you wear, the type of clothes you wear, all affect your mood. It is a fun and relaxing activity so consider giving it a try!

7. Read a book or watch a movie

We all are different. Some of us enjoy a good read, while some of us enjoy watching our favorite shows and movies. It all depends on your mood so, give both of them a try!

8. Express your Gratitude

Gratitude and self-care go hand in hand. I recommend making a journal to list anything you're grateful about every day. Whenever you feel unhappy about your life and situation, going through this list can cheer you up and feel grateful.
